when I worry I want to die
when I don't worry I don't want to die
I just want to rely on and encourage my interior
but it takes thought to try this
and for a thought I've got to get a loan
I've got to pay interest
I've got to purchase something from an accredited lender
sometimes it's like that
yeah it's gone
then it's back
then it's gone
then it's back
where it started
she is lying on her side and I've been waiting all week for this
we cut on the event and I start to disintegrate
I survey the room for my most favorite indulgent accessory
but then she starts to cry
my patience is tested
my allegiance put on trial
while lying supine
she tries to charm my spinal column
sometimes it's like that
yeah it's gone
then it's back
then it's gone
then it's back
where it started
sometimes love is like that
all gone
all bad
all good
all back
all over
I say words with pauses
my brain starts misfiring
a charmed snake is my supine spinal colonnade
I wander through purses
to find the most private things
to recall later that evening
in case she doesn't show
the intention is to invent the connection
between that object and her
and then replace that position in her purse
and be carried everywhere around with her
and have to revert to being inert and transferable
sometimes it's like that
yeah it's gone
then it's back
then it's gone
then it's back
where it started
sometimes love is like that
all gone
all bad
all good
all back
all over
supine
she tried to charm my spinal column
