I eat my dinner in my jeans everyday
activities are recorded on my jeans
I'm talking about grass stains and grease and
when I do my laundry I am still in my jeans
cause after all of this they still manage to stay clean

when I cook up my pancakes I am still in my jeans
cause what I fall asleep in I also wake up wearing
I carry my objects: cellphone, key chain, handkerchief, wallet
even my watch pocket holds the small things I don't want to get lost
(if I were rich this would be golf pencils and diamonds)
and if I get something on my hands I don't think twice
on my jeans I just wipe it right off
and with a little luck it will start to have that naturally distressed look
you know, with the corrosion and all, really expensive stuff
